1. The exterior was stuccoed many years ago.
2. The wraparound verandah, brackets and other details had been removed.
3. In the early 1990s, with some funding assistance from VHF, the owners removed the stucco overlay, and undertook a total restoration including brackets in the soffits, bargeboards in gables, verandah reconstructed on the old footprint. The house was painted in a heritage colour scheme which included a stained cedar shingle roof.
   
4. Prep and paint in new colours in 2009.
