Volume One: Fernwood & Victoria West

The Victoria Heritage Foundation (VHF) for the City of Victoria is undertaking an updating and revision of Volume I: Fernwood and Victoria West of This Old House: Victoria’s Heritage Neighbourhoods, which was published in 2004. VHF is in search of some additional photographs of houses and streetscapes in these areas, with dates from the late 1800s up through the 1980s.

2010 Heritage BC Award

At the Heritage BC Annual Conference held in Victoria on June 4th, 2010, the Victoria Heritage Foundation was presented with the Outstanding Achievement Award in the Advocacy category for the four volumes of This Old House.

2010 Hallmark Awards

At the Hallmark Society Awards on May 4th, 2010, the Victoria Heritage Foundation was presented with a Communication Award for the four volumes of This Old House, as well as Hallmark's most prestigious award, the Louis Award "for the incredible volunteer effort to produce the four volumes of This Old House."
